Formed by Tommy and Ricky in 1997 with a simple goal to combine classic hard rock/AOR with a modern touch.
The album was first recorded with programmed drums but was quickly re-recorded with Johan Koleberg from LIONS SHARE adding a much needed punch to the production.

Most groups have a hard time finding one good singer....Prisoner has two, Geir Rönning is by many concidered to be one of the greatest singers ever!!! A seasoned pro with solo albums, sessions and almost ten years of working with TOTO, Geir's vocals help make Prisoner's first album "BLIND" a modern classic.

Pierre Wensberg is a new name on the international scene but soon be a household name everywhere. Fans of high pitched singers like STEVE PERRY, JASON SCHEFF and BOBBY KIMBALL will easiely find a new favorite in Pierre.

Tommy Denander is already known to most people as a multi talented musician, songwriter and producer. After 18 years he has recorded several aclaimed solo albums and more than 300 albums as a session musician with artists and bands like TOTO, FERGIE FREDERIKSEN, BILL CHAMPLIN, FEE WAYBILL, RICHARD MARX...

Ricky B Delin was earlier one half of the great westcoast duo DELIN/DA'VESTA and a brilliant lyric writer. Together with Tommy he's a founding member of Prisoner. This album has been tipped by many within the press as possibly the debut release to watch

LIVE AT ZROCK 2001 IN MANCHESTER ENGLAND

Prisoner has actually only done one live show ever!!!
They took the audience with storm at the ZROCK festival in Manchester on May 6th 2001 with Tommy's dear friend Sayit filling in as guitarist due to Tommy being ill.
